I remember when I was asked by a panel during an interview, “Do you really know how to do video editing when you actually Accountancy major or are you trying to impress us with some fake skills?” *Ouch* I do find it is unfair to judge someone before giving them the chance to prove that they are worth to get nice impression.
Some people are hard to impress as they set their expectations ‘so high that I could almost see eternity’. 😅 Anyway, I’m OK with it as long as it does not trigger my boiling point.
Making a good impression is crucial when it involves professionalism. However, trying to impress people who do not accept you for who you are is just wasted effort.
Kalau orang tu memang inda suka ko, inda perlu mo ‘impress’ dorang. Bikin sakit hati saja. Buang saja orang begitu, dan carilah yang ko rasa bulih ngam. 😎
