Tell The World

Review: Tell The World (2015)

I was so excited when I finally received an email from The Adventist Church that the long awaiting film will be launched on 22nd October 2016. Why was 22nd October chosen? It’s the day when the Millerites were in great disappointment because of their belief that God would come on that day. Anyway, ‘Tell the World’ is a lengthy movie about the early movement and the birth of Seventh-Day Adventist.

Movie: Tell The World (2015)

I have following the progress of ‘Tell The World’ since it was announced a few years ago. It’s a story of the birth and development of the early Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) movement which highlights the major events that shaped the early church, and the prominent names such as William Miller, Joshua V. Himes, Ellen Harmon (Ellen G. White), Joseph Bates, James White and J.N. Andrews.

Why Train To Busan Is Not Your Typical Running Men Movie

You might have watched movies about zombies before but watching this Train to Busan (부산행) is going to make you think about what you would (or should) do when you come to a situation between life and death. The movie itself is a mixture of Final Destination, and World War Z. I find the movie is quite exhilarating, yet thrilling.

If you’re familiar with Goodreads, you will know how Goodshows operates, too! Goodshows is similar to Goodreads where you can make a list what movies or dramas you wanted to watch as well as mark and review movies or dramas which you’ve watched. It’s something like Foursquare where you ‘check-in’ the things that you have done.

Steal That Look: The Grease (1978)

I’ve just finished watching one of my all-time favourite movie Grease on iflix, and being a fan of vintage style, I would always look for old movies to get some inspirations. Besides, I’ve been a hardcore fan of Olivia Newton-John, and John Travolta ever since my Mum told me all about her favourite celebrities (and her list includes the late Princess Diana).
