Review: THE PLANT BASE Nature Solution Hydrating Bamboo Water
Posted On March 19, 2017
What’s with this Bamboo hype? I’m sure you must have been seeing your friend’s posts about some products that has something to do with ‘Bamboo’. Frankly speaking, most of my friends have been tagging me with some ‘Bamboo Salt’ products which actually made me curious about it. Anyway, today’s post is about ‘Bamboo Water’. Yup. The water from bamboo, not the salt. I went to search about the benefits of bamboo water on the Internet a few days ago, and here are some of the benefits that I found.
While most of us are not aware of the benefits of bamboo water, here are some of the benefits which might surprise you.
Bamboo water is naturally a deep hydrating property just like coconut water which is good to the skin especially skin that prone to dryness and flakiness.
Bamboo water is a natural collagen production that helps to boost collagen production by inhibiting the ageing process which resulted in a more youthful glow skin.
Bamboo water has been one of the strongest natural sources of silica which helps support healthy skin, hair, and nails.

The packaging is rather simple and straight-forward. It has the details on usage, ingredients, and brief introduction about the product itself. The product has a clear bottle packaging which is easier to see how much amount left. It’s travel-friendly and the lid does not open easily. Very nice.
Since the product contains of bamboo water and oil, there is a need to shake it before using it. I noticed the ‘foam’ inside the bottle after shaking it. The best thing about this toner is that it does not leave my skin with greasy feeling. Unlike other toners which I used before, this toner is very hydrating, as if it is a combination of toner + serum. It actually makes my skin fresh and glowing. Plus, make-up lasts longer, and does not cakey. I also noticed that my skin does not feel dry or oily in the morning as I usually wear this both in the morning and evening.
The price might be an issue but knowing the worth of this product, I think this is one of the best toners that I use this year. I just pour a few drops and pat all over my face and neck. I also focus on my eyes, and neck because those are the areas where my skin has been very dry this time.
This is my favourite because it does not make my combination skin feels dry and oily. It really gives hydration to my skin especially when I am looking for a skincare product that has anti-aging properties. It also helps to soothe redness on the skin. This is similar to Aloe Vera but I find this one is better one because it hydrates, soothes, and moisturises at the same time. Perfect for those who are not looking for greasiness and tautness. Recommended!
