I have always been a fan of NYX Cosmetics because they never failed to offer great make-up products at the most affordable price. Today, I’m going to review on NYX Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette.I got myself all 4 sets NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette from Amazon.com, with the helps from my aunties, and cousins who are residing in the States. I fell in love with the colors when I saw NYX Cosmetics posted them on their Instagram a few months back. I’m not sure if they are now available in Sephora or any other local online stores. What I Say
Each palette comes in a 16 professional eye shadows housed in one portable palette which is travel-friendly but I’m afraid it may break easily as the packaging is made of lightweight plastic case. There’s no mirror included, just a transparent cover lid which makes it easier to identify the palette inside without having to open the lid.
I’m very impressed because they blend well and last all day long without leaving crease. Unlike other drugstore eyeshadows which I tried before, NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette never get me into chalky situation whenever I applied them on my eyelids. In fact, the colours are really pigmented and stand out especially when prepping it with primer. I love the way each look as turned out. Here’s a closer look at all four palettes:
I find the matte shades perform and feel better than the rest, and the shimmery shades need to be built up because they tend to be flaky if applying them without primer. Some of the shades can be very powdery yet I do not find them to be buttery. The eye shadow won’t get all messy when applying so there’s no need to put pads or loose powder under the eyes. The bright colours can be quite bright especially the yellow shades. The selling price is USD18. I’m not sure how much do they sell in Malaysia or Singapore.
Overall, I love these palettes because they are so much easy to use and I have been using these when doing make-ups to my clients. They were extremely in love with the shades.
