If you’re familiar with Goodreads, you will know how Goodshows operates, too! Goodshows is similar to Goodreads where you can make a list what movies or dramas you wanted to watch as well as mark and review movies or dramas which you’ve watched. It’s something like Foursquare where you ‘check-in’ the things that you have done.
Goodshows is a new apps which you can actually download from the apps store for free. No additional charge required. It’s free of charge. You need to make a free account with Goodshows first before you can actually use the apps.
The system is fairly simple and straight-forward. Simply search for the title of the movie or drama that you wanted to watch or just finished watching, then click on the button. You can simply write a review or just put the rating. It’s so simple, and you can have your own movie database.
Goodshows has the feature for you to follow your friends and like-minded reviewers to discover new movies and shows to watch, and discuss your favourites. It also allow to share your ratings, reviews, and stats with your friends on Facebook, and Twitter. You can find spoilers, too!
The best thing about this app is it has a frequent updated list of movies and dramas. For instance, I’ve just watched Episode 9 of Korean drama W – Two Worlds, and when I looked into Goodshows, they have the drama there. In fact, this app has a very nice list of Korean dramas. Just name it, you will be happy to have your favourite movies in your list.
Although there are some flaws with this app, I still love using it to track all the movies, and dramas. I just hope it gets better and better, for instance, the ability to track my list on website, too. Yeah, a web interface just like Goodreads.
