I received a bottle of Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water 400ml a few days ago. It comes in a clear squeezable plastic bottle with a pinkish lid. The label has a complete information such as description about the product, ingredients, instructions, and manufacturing date. The product also states that it should be used within 6 months after opening it.
The product is completely odourless which means it does not contain alcohol. I usually use it to remove my make-up and cleanse my face before bedtime. It helps to wipe-off the make-up especially waterproof mascara with a minimal swipes on a cotton pad. I have a combination skin which is prone to acne breakouts, and this cleansing water makes my skin squeaky clean, refreshed, and no breakouts. It makes my skincare routine more convenient as I no longer has to spend time on removing make-up residue using cleansing oil which sometimes still leave traces of oil and make-up inside the pores.
Since I usually apply tretinoin cream (a preparation of retinoic acid, applied to the skin to treat acne and other disorders), my skin has gotten quite dry as a side-effect from using it. However, this cleansing water has dramatically improves my skin conditions as it does not harsh to my skin, and keep my skin moisturized with zero irritation. This is a great cleansing water which can remove face, eyes, and lips make-up very easy. It does not contain alcohol which is great for sensitive skin. Since it does not irritate my skin and ‘promote’ breakouts, I would recommend this product to everyone. You will never regret having a bottle of this cleansing water at home because there’s no need to rinse off after using this. Just soak with a cotton pad, and swipes. Plus, the price is very affordable!
