What I Say

[ELENSILIA 엘렌실라] Escargot Original Repair Cream is formulated with 80% snail mucus extract and also contains other ingredient such as  Arbutin which is a natural skin lightening agent that has the ability to fade/lighten age spots and hyper-pigmentation. 80% snail mucus in this cream contains restorative properties to helps to heal damaged skin.

The product comes in a nice packaging which ample of information but they are mostly in Korean language, so, there is a need to look for the information on the internet. I also find it’s quite hard to find the information about this product as this product is purely made in Korea.

The product has a strong scent which I find it’s somewhat tolerable since it’s actually lavender scent. Although the lavender scent is not much of my cup of coffee, I still use it on my skin because of the result. Frankly speaking, some may hate the scent while some may find it’s okay. This product, however, is free of parabens and artificial fragrance.

[ELENSILIA 엘렌실라] Escargot Original Repair Cream contains floral and botanical extracts that nourish the skin, imparting it with antioxidants and other protective properties for long-term skin health. It has thick and sticky gel-like texture which I find quite interesting as it quickly absorbed into the skin. It helps my skin with moisturization and adding nutrition to my skin, leaving my skin with less roughness and dryness. The effect can be experienced a few minutes after applying it onto the skin.

I have been using [ELENSILIA 엘렌실라] Escargot Original Repair Cream for 14 days now and I love how it gives my skin with clear and transparent skin. I noticed that my skin has gotten clear, and spots are starting to diminish. I usually apply this cream before bed because I believe the skin repairs when we sleep.

The best thing about this product is it does not cause my skin to dryness or oilier even though I have a combination skin. Unlike other cream with snail mucus extract which I have tried before, [ELENSILIA 엘렌실라] Escargot Original Repair Cream literally treats my skin nicely and ensure that my skin is hydrated even when I skip using it for a few nights. In other words, it keeps a good job by making my skin smooth, soft, supple, and hydrated. This may sound like bullsh*t but I can only suggest that you try it for yourself to see the result.

The only concern that I may have lies on the price as it can be quite expensive to some consumers who are price-conscious. This product has done much better than other snail-based cream which I have tried previously. In fact, this product has 80% snail mucus which makes the effect more visible just within a week.

My Final Verdict

[ELENSILIA 엘렌실라] Escargot Original Repair Cream is indeed a great product, and no wonder it has been one of the best-selling product for 6 years. It really suitable for those who have dry, and combination skin. I would not recommend this to be applied on the skin during day time as it may be quite ‘shiny’ or may be said as ‘oily’. It is better to be applied on the skin after mask session, that is, before bed time. I would definitely recommend as well as repurchase this product again!
