Most of us think all facial cleansers have similar function, that is, to remove dirts and make-up residues. Well, face cleansing is not just about turning the skin into squeaky clean but it is all about preparing the skin for the next step of skincare routine. The product which I’m going to review today is AHC Hydra B5 Soothing Foam Cleanser which has key ingredients such as Vitamin B5, Hyaluronic Acid, Honey, Aloe Vera, and Hollyhock. This cleanser is not your ordinary cleanser because it can make dry and rough skin smooth and flawless when using it religiously.

What I Say

AHC Hydra B5 Soothing Foam Cleanser is a super value face cleanser that comes in a 180ml tube which can last up to 5-6 months. The cleanser is very creamy yet delicate texture. I noticed that it was easy to produce foam once it touched with water. It has tiny particles that functioned as removing dirts and dead skin cells.

Choosing the right facial cleanser is very important because a good facial cleanser should be able to remove the dirt and makeup residues left deep in the pores. Why? Because the dirt and makeup residues that are left in the pores can cause blackheads and whiteheads. You can simply assess your skin after face wash especially on your nose. I find that AHC Hydra B5 Soothing Foam Cleanser is a good cleanser because it has tiny particles that clean up the dirts inside the pores effectively, but leave the external skin with less damage.

A good facial cleanser should be able to open the pores so that skin can absorb the nutrition from skincare products as well as removing all dirts from deep inside the pores. AHC Hydra B5 Soothing Foam Cleanser has been great on my skin as it does not over clean my skin which can cause external pressure on epidermal. Besides, this cleanser gently soothe my skin and does not irritate the skin. It helps to open the pores to ensure that dirts are removed and my skin is ready for the next step of skincare routine.

Facial cleanser should never be underestimated because it can promote the skin to absorb nutrition from skincare products up to 30%. AHC Hydra B5 Soothing Foam Cleanser replenishes the skin with Vitamin B5, and improve rough skin to become more healthy and vibrant. My skin does not feel dry, tight or irritate after washing. It really works on removing make-up residues… Effectively!

My Final Verdict

This is definitely a catch! Worth of investing on a good facial cleanser because it is suitable for my combination skin. It does not make my skin tight after every washing. The best thing about this cleanser is on its tiny particles that function as ‘scrub’ that does not irritate the skin. It really removes dirt and makeup residues. It does not expand my ‘already’ enlarged pores. In fact, it makes my skin ready for the next skincare routine. VERY RECOMMENDED and it is great for those who have dry and matured skin, too! You will definitely fall in love with this cleanser! 🙂
