Review: 21st Century Elastin Collagen 600mg 30’s

Our skin is comprised of two (2) layers known as epidermis and dermis. The latter has collagen and glycosaminoglycans that ensure the skin elasticity. Basically, our skin changes over time which leads to visible appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, rough skin, uneven skin tone, and loss of skin elasticity. Our body has its natural ability to product collagen but as we get older, the production also decreases thus lead to the loss of collagen which contribute to visible appearance of aging.

Thus, it is important to maintain collagen levels in the body to promote firmer and younger looking skin with major amino acids such as glycine, proline and hydroxyproline. What I Say

This product comes in a small and travel-friendly white plastic medicine bottle. It has a tightly secured lid which won’t open that easily. The packaging label is simple and quite straight-forward. Almost all required information are available on the label. Each bottle has 30 capsules 600mg collagen. I usually consume this product before bedtime because I believe my skin repairs during night. So, one bottle is enough for one month supply.

This is my 3rd bottle yet I find the effect is quite slow that other brands which I tried prior this. However, it makes my skin maintains its collagen level as I noticed that dark spots, dry skin, and uneven skin tone are diminishing… slowly. I also noticed that my skin has become firmer. This may not give the fastest result but it maintains collagen levels in the body. If you want to maintain your collagen levels, then this is a nice choice. Apart from that, this is considered as one of the affordable collagen supplements in the market so far with approval from the Ministry of Health (MOH).
