May was a very hectic month for me as I had to spend more time on my doctorate as well as my part-time job as a freelance make-up artist (apart from being an Accountant in the office). Exhausted. Anyway, I got a chance to chat with my Korean sister-in-law the other day while we were busy updating the system in the office. I may be a big fan of Korean dramas and music but I admit that my Korean language is really below passing mark.
My brother is my Korean tutor and he has asked me to learn the basic Korean ‘alphabets’. Pretty tough. So, we were chatting about 11street which is quite famous in South Korea (apart from GMarket, and so on). It is a joint venture open marketplace between Celcom Axiata Bhd. and SK Planet Ltd. The platform is almost similar to Lazada, Rakuten, and GMarket.
The best thing that I love about 11street is the enhanced security in which an escrow system is built for safe and secure transactions apart from an established Trust & Safety policy to prevent illegal transactions, products and members. Moreover, it also offers free member registration and product listing with a very mobile-friendly environment for convenient shopping. You can always enjoy the similar experience as 11st.co.kr (11street in South Korea). For your information, most of the products are in-stock. You don’t have to wait for weeks to get them delivered to your doorsteps.
11street offers a large variety of trusted products and services from reliable merchants from Malaysia and around the world. I find that most of the products are tagged at very attractive prices with additional member benefits. What’s more? It has frequent deals and promotions, and you could even get free shipping! I’m a total suck at free shipping as I hate the fact that East Malaysians have to pay double for shipping charge (blame the cabotage policy). If you went to shop at Rakuten prior this, you might have experience that it offers point and credit system that rewards you when you shop. Yes. The 11street does offer point and credit reward system, too!
11street is currently having a promotion for baby stuff until 11 June 2015. Who doesn’t love promotion and discounts? I love those words as long as I can save more. Don’t tell me I’m just being a cheapskate. Only parents could understand this ‘never-ending expenses’. Besides, you don’t need a credit or debit card to shop with 11street. Online banking transfer is made available for you. Yes. I could save more as I need not to pay ‘interest charge’ for using my credit card.
If you asked me for my shopping preference, I’d say that I would rather shop with 11street than other available online marketplace. Why? Because I can always save more when shopping with 11street. Not only for my kids but also for myself. Mr Hubby has no idea about this 11street yet. I’ve decided to get him a mini heart attack later. 빨리 빨리!
I find the payment process is easier than other marketplace payment system. Plus, 11street offers secured payment, too. You can always print out the bill for your own reference.
As I mentioned earlier, 11street is having its promotion for baby diapers which means you will never have to pay for the shipping fee. This also applies for those who are living in East Malaysia (Sabah, Sarawak & Labuan). Be a wise consumer.
