If you’re bored with Pinterest, and looking for a more shoppable Pinterest then you should get a free account at Keep.com. The site itself responds to the news when Pinterest has decided to ban all affiliates by launching their own affiliate service. Ouch! Previously, Pinterest users made money from the service as they could post products and then get commission from the sale if one of their followers went on to buy the item. It was a monetization heaven.Β
What They Say
Keep is revolutionizing the way stylish women discover and buy trending products across the web.
Keep is the place to discover and buy the latest trends in fashion, home decor, accessories and design. Keep’s community unites the best products from across all e-commerce into a beautiful showcase of trending, unique and frankly, fabulous finds.
Keep: Curated by tastemakers. Beautifully presented. Immediately shoppable. Totally addictive.
What I Say
I often go shopping online, and keep items in the wishlist so that I can keep an eye on them just in case they are going to have huge discounts. So, Keep.com is another website similar to Pinterest which you can keep an eye on the items just like you pin on Pinterest. However, the items on Keep.com are for sale. Meaning that you can always buy them, or keep them until you have enough budget to do your online shopping.
The functions are very similar to Pinterest except that you won’t be getting those recipes, make-up or beauty tips like those in Pinterest. If you’ve been playing with Pinterest before, then you should be familiar with the buttons. Very simple. Apart from that, you can create your own board for yourself. You can set preferences, search, and find new items.
Keep.com is a real community for shopaholics because you can always buy the items straight from the merchants. For example, you can always buy a Madora Skirt Torn by Ronny Kobo or just keep it until you are ready to buy it. Unlike Pinterest, Keep will never leave you inspired by it and re-pin.
