I was browsing my Instagram when I found out that Ropuhan Di Tanak Wagu has his homemade jams on sale. What really caught my eyes was ‘TUHAU JAM’ because I am a total sucker to anything-to-do with Tuhau, a local Sabahan food, which is quite popular among the local people. Read more about my post.

WHAT I SAY
All jams are using 100% real and all natural ingredients. There are no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, and there are no chemical or man made additives either. In other words, there is a need to put into the fridge once they are opened. As for the packaging, I must say it is pretty nice, straightforward, and simple. Tagged at MYR15.00 per jar, I find this jams are worth buying because the unique taste that each of it bears.
The only problem is when I find is ‘WHERE TO BUY’ once I run out of my supply. These jams have been in my favourite list. I just hope they will be made available in the local stores, or some online stores. I would prefer if these jams are sold at local stores all over Sabah in order to create awareness about these great products. I do hope this kind of local jam can enter the international market in 5 years time. Okay, enough with the rants. Let’s get back to the main topic.
So… These 3 jams are really delicious, but my favourites are Bunga Kantan, and Tuhau. Believe it or not, I actually mixed this jam into my hot milk – something different to ‘challenge’ my taste buds. I would even spread this on my toasted bread and layered it with a slice of cheddar cheese.
Let me know what do you think about it in the comment below.
