I went to attend MUAH Studio Academy to show my support to my former make-up academy in which I earned my Professional Diploma in Makeup Artistry a few years ago. MUAH Studio Academy has never failed to produce certified and talented Make-Up Artists in Sabah (and Sarawak), and I’m proud that I was taught by the Principal of MUAH Studio Academy, Ms. Beverley Shim. Today was MUAH Studio Academy grand opening of their new premise at 333 Plaza, Kobusak, Penampang.
I managed to meet some of my friends who share same passion as mine. Pretty sad because I couldn’t meet any of my batchmates. Anyway, I was happy to meet the rest of the MUAH members who are friendly. I also met Ms. Beverley as I promised to her that I would come during the grand opening. It was a last minute plan because I already had other plans.
The new premise is located at Lot 48, 1st Floor, Block F, Lorong 333-5, Plaza 333, Jalan Penampang Bypass, Sabah. It’s actually located next to Sparta HAUSZ. It’s the same block as Twenty2 Crust, just that MUAH Studio Academy is located at the center of the block. It’s pretty easy to find it as the MUAH signboard can be clearly seen – red colour.
Being among the first 150 customers really made me happy. MYR50 discount voucher is a lot! I only paid MYR54.50 instead of MYR104.50. MUAH Studio Academy always offers the best quality make-up products. In fact, I love their false lashes, and brushes the most because they are so soft and light. The studio opens for public to purchase make-up tools and products. It’s not restricted for make-up artist only. Trust me, you will find it’s pretty hard to get away without even getting one makeup brush or false lashes for yourself.
Let’s talk about the false lashes sold by MUAH Studio Academy. The lashes are 100% human hair, and they are super light non-synthetic lashes. They come in different lengths and styles. Unlike other synthetic lashes that can be quite heavy and have hard edges, MUAH lashes are completely the opposite. Moreover, MUAH lashes can be worn again as long as they are cleaned with baby oil or makeup remover.
There are tons of make-up tools and products sold at MUAH Studio Academy, and more items will be on the rack soon. You can buy authentic Krayolan, and Mehron products from the studio, too. I’m actually waiting for their lipsticks because they had them on the rack sometimes ago.
MUAH Studio Academy has been established since 2010, and it has more than 200 graduates. Most of them are part-time freelance make-up artists, while a few of them are doing this as their full-time job. They come from various background but they share the same passion in make-up artistry.
