Events: Domino’s Delivery Riders Spreads Appreciation to Frontliners during RMCO

As we brave through one of the most challenging periods with the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO), frontliners continue to stand firm in their commitment by stepping out of their homes every single day with a sole purpose – to serve the nation. Throughout the movement control order period, these heroes have shown true dedication, responsibility and bravery. Aside from the significant frontliners, many owners of non-profit organizations (NGOs) were also on the ground, contributing their part in ensuring the underprivileged are taken care of and well nourished.
Staying true to its promise of “It’s All About You” and as a gesture of togetherness, Domino’s Pizza served Malaysians as it stood by the frontliners and the community in Sabah by extending its spirit of positivity and kindness during this period as part of its continuous commitment in giving back to the community.
In efforts to reach out to the unfortunate, Domino’s joined hands with Botak Fund, Dapur Belia, and other NGOs at Sabah to distribute over 500 pizzas to the people around Sandakan and Kota Kinabalu. As part of being the frontliners themselves, Abang and Kakak Domino’s remained determined to share their positive vibes by delivering pizzas to the police and army on duty at several locations around Sabah.
In addition to this, Domino’s also extended its appreciation to frontliners at Hospital Queen Elizabeth and Duchess of Kent for their unwavering commitment in protecting the nation. As at today, over 2,000 pizza boxes have been distributed to Sabahans.
According to Linda Hassan, Group Chief Marketing Officer of Domino’s Pizza Malaysia and Singapore said, “During these trying times, it is important for all of us to place greater emphasis on those communities who are in need. At Domino’s, we always strive to give back to the community in ways that could contribute in lifting up everyone’s spirit. We are also very thankful to have such dedicated and big-hearted employees who have utilised their time and energy in strategizing this meaningful initiative.”
