As I celebrated my birthday last week, I realized that I am almost in my 40s – just a few year left. So, I am fully aware of my skin condition and the need for a proper skincare routine as well as to mind on what I consume every day. It may seem like I am too obsess with my skin, but that is because my Mum keeps on reminding me to take care of my skin. Yes. I have been wearing less make-up to work, and invest on skincare treatment and products. Today, I wanted to share my personal experience of using Olay Total Effects Whip All-In-One Moisturiser which I bought a few weeks ago.
Before I tell you my story, I would like to confess that Olay was never my favourite skincare product – this brand was in my black list as it gave me breakouts. However, I recently read a recommendation on a local magazine and decided to give it a try – hoping that their R&D has improved. It is claimed that Olay Total Effects Whip delivers ultimate nourishment without the weight, and this breakthrough facial moisturiser transforms from cream to liquid on contact for fast absorption and a breathable feel.
Olay Total Effects Whip All-In-One Moisturiser gives the skin with that smooth, matte and shine-free appearance. This product features Vitamins C and E that nourishes the skin without leaving the skin with sticky or greasy feeling. Its innovative Active Rush Technology features a unique three-dimensional structure that transforms from cream to liquid on skin to deliver potent ingredients in an ultra-lightweight form. Besides, Olay Total Effects Whip All-In-One Moisturiser delivers 7 benefits in one: actively replenishes nourishing moisture, evens skin tone appearance, enhances brightness, visibly smooths fine lines, minimizes the look of pores, restores firmness and visibly reduces dark spots.

Does it really work?
Olay Total Effects Whip All-In-One Moisturiser leaves my face feeling soft and smooth which I actually satisfied. It has a light fragrance which I find it is still acceptable. The texture is light and fluffy. I love the texture as it does not leave white residue and quickly absorbed into the skin! I love the packaging; very clean and sleek.
This moisturiser does contains Vitamin C and E, and I am quite happy as it really solves my problem of uneven skin tone and dark spots. But, this moisturiser does not minimize the appearance of pores – Nope. It does not work on my skin. It does not work on smooth out those fine lines but it enhances my skin’s brightness.
I have mixed feeling about this product as I am a very particular when it comes to giving my skin with proper hydration. Although it is said to promote skin hydration, I do notice that it does not keep my skin hydrated enough. It does keep my skin with a matte finish for more than 5 hours.
