Dayve Tried: SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella-Asiatica 100 Ampoule

I always love using ampoule that contains Centella Asiatica as one of its active ingredients. Why? It is because Centella Asiatica is rich in amino acids, beta carotene, fatty acids, and phytochemicals. It is known as effective at improving skin hydration. Based on the benefits on skin, I bought SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella-Asiatica 100 Ampoule. Frankly speaking, this has been my second purchase because I find this ampoule is really good to my skin.

SKIN1004 is a very popular brand in Korea. I bought this ampoule from Althea for RM78. The price is within the range of my usual budget for a bottle of 100ml ampoule. Moreover, it only requires 2 – 3 drops for every application. It can last up to 3 months, depending on the usage. I usually apply it on my damp skin (preferably after toner), and just dab for faster absorption. The best thing about this ampoule is it can be mixed with water to produce cooling facial spray. It can also be stored in refrigerator for cooling effect (plus the benefits of soothing redness).

Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica Ampoule

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella-Asiatica 100 Ampoule has quite a watery texture with a faint smell. It penetrates fast into the skin. This is not a stand-alone product as there is a need to apply moisturizer and sunscreen after that. I might say that this is somewhat functions as a booster to ensure the skin is hydrated. I actually love this as it soothes redness – and it does not meant for reducing redness due to pimples.

Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica Ampoule

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella-Asiatica 100 Ampoule has three (3) active ingredients which function as follows:

  • Asiaticoside – Improves the water-to-oil balance of the skin.
  • Asiactic acid – Strengthens the skin’s barrier and has antioxidant effects for anti-aging.
  • Madecassic acid – Repairs damaged skin and evens out scar tissue.

My advice is this should be used together with other products, and can be mixed with your DIY fruit mask or any other cream or gel mask. There is no tingling sensation upon using this product. Great for skin hydration but not enough to be used as improving skin condition such as diminishing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. As I mentioned earlier, this cannot be used as stand-alone, it requires to be mixed with other skincare products to achieve the skin that you are looking for.
