How many of us are still using Hazeline Snow Moisturising Cream? I was introduced by my mom (and grandma) when I was a kid. I still remember it was really cheap, and the small jar was quite heavy. The screw top aluminium lid was one of the features that I remember a lot. The old packaging has Chinese words printed on it. It was quite popular back then as it was used as soothing the skin. How about now? I still use it now whenever I need to soothe my skin.
Hazeline Snow Moisturising Cream has always been knowns as to have whitening effect, however, I have mixed opinion about this product. First, it does not actually whiten the skin but only makes the skin looks brighter, smooth, and moisturised. Unlike the old Hazeline Snow Moisturising Cream, the new version has a lighter and creamier texture. It melts into a velvety cream when it contacts with the skin – leaving less white residues which the old version actually did. Besides, the smell is a bit different from the previous Hazeline Snow Moisturising Cream. There’s so much differences lately.
This Hazeline Snow Moisturising Cream is a non-oily cream. It easily gets absorbed into the skin which leave the skin soft and smooth – velvety touch. In other words, it mattify the skin – not drying up my skin. This product is suitable for all skin types, young and old. The price is really cheap, as for an established brand which every household had this during the olden days.
While Hazeline Snow Moisturising Cream has tried to preserve the old way of skincare, I believe there is a need to provide a better packaging such as provide spatula to scoop the cream instead of using finger which most us would agree that it is pretty unhygienic.
Apart from that, the Hazeline Snow Moisturising Cream contains Parabens. I would not recommend you to use this if you are concern with the Parabens. As for me, I’m still using it because I find my skin feels smoother, brighter, and moisturized after every application. It helps to reduce the appearance of my acne marks. I also apply this on my dry elbows and knees.
