What I Say
The facial cream comes in a small plastic packaging. There’s nothing amusing about the packaging because judging from the plastic container itself, you know that the production cost is fairly cheap. This facial cream is quite well-known among Asian people because it can diminish the appearance of pimples, dark spots, and also whiten the skin. The cream has a very faint floral scent, and it looks like a butter. LOL! It’s yellow… Just like a butter. The pamphlet is also included in the box but it does not specifically mention the ingredients. If you’re concern about the contents of this cream, then you should reconsider yourself buying this facial cream.
I went to do a research on this product, and I found out that it contains 1% mercury. I have read a few articles stating that 1% mercury is no harm to the skin. So, I applied this before I hit the bed, and used it for a week. At first, I noticed that my skin was getting fairer with diminishing dark spots. However, my skin has gotten dry and flaky, and breakouts. I stopped using this facial cream. I went to ask my fellow beauty junkies about this facial cream, and one of them showed me this link in which (to my horror) this facial cream has been listed as containing high level of mercury.
It’s a hard fact to swallow as I experienced breakouts on my jawline. Although I read tons of positive reviews about this product, I’m still with my decision not to apply this on my skin anymore. It’s not recommended if you have sensitive and dry skin like mine. I have this regret for testing this on my skin.
Do let me know what do you think about this product if you’ve tried this before. 🙂
