I just hope my BB cream doesn’t make my skin dry as I’ve been in the office since morning, and I haven’t go out as it’s pretty hot out there. Yeah. The weather in Kota Kinabalu is dry at the moment. Anyway, I have a few BB cream in my make-up box at the moment, and I’ve decided to write a review on Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream SPF40 PA++ which I was supposed to review a few weeks ago but due to my lappy has to be sent out for some minor repair, thus this post is delayed.

What I Say
As a make-up artist, I usually pay close attention on how long a product can last on my face before I use it to my clients. In fact, I found out that BB cream would usually leave a white cast which look so chalky on dry skin, and cakey on oily skin. However, this BB cream comes in a very handy, sleek, chic, and minimalist packaging. The tube has a long and narrow opening which is good control of the amount for application.
It has ‘not so’ thick but creamy consistency, and it’s not too oily. It blends well into skin, and would not dry your skin – great for people who works in an air-conditioned environment. The cream looks a shade lighter than my skin tone, but it matches my skin tone quite well after blending it out to settle for a few minutes.
Apart from that, I also like the fact that this BB cream is alcohol, and paraben free. In short, it does not contain harmful ingredients that might cause irritation to the skin. Moreover, it does not contain artificial colors! However, that ‘against animal testing’ doesn’t catch my attention as I’m only interested on the features and benefits of using this BB cream.
Verdict
For someone who are always on the run, and doesn’t like to apply make-up a lot, this BB cream should be included in your make-up box. Just apply a dot on your cheek, forehead, nose, and chin then blend them all using Cerro Queen Natural Emulsion Powder Puff (MYR 4.90), Real Techniques Stippling Brush (MYR 70.20), or Cerro Queen Multifunctional Oblique Cosmetic Make-up Brush (MYR 60.72). You can get these applicators from Natta Cosme at a very affordable price! I love the light floral scent so much! It also covers freckles, redness, and blemishes. Enough to make your face with dewy glow. However, you still need to apply concealer as this BB cream doesn’t have the ability to conceal pimples, and dark under eyes. If you wanted to get that Korean-look, this should be your solution to achieve that ulzzang look!
