What I Say
This product comes in a 50ml white plastic bottle with a cute blue pump dispenser. I find this is so travel friendly. Say no to leakage! Oh my me. I hate to buy beauty product that would make my luggage in a mess. Rugi pun ada, banyak kerja lagi terpaksa mau bikin. The only thing that I noticed is the pump dispenser can be a little bit unfriendly. Maybe because the thick consistency of the product or maybe there is a need to replace the pump dispenser to a better option.
The application is rather easier. So easy. Just add water, and massage it onto the skin. Follow the instructions stated. It is so fun especially when I leave it for 3 minutes. I guess the longer, the better. Let it suck out every single impurities deep inside the pores, baby. You can see that my skin is not that perfect, and I still need to work hard to keep my dry skin at bay.
This is a mild cleansing + peeling mask which works in multiway. It actually produces bubbles a few seconds after applied. Very mild on skin and does not leave my skin with redness and taut. Indada tu rasa kulit macam kana tarik-tarik… Yang teramat tegang ni… Macam susah mau senyum kalau ketat butul tu kulit muka… Hahahaha!
Althea’s Milk Peel Cream Mask contains Milk protein extract which helps to moisturize and strengthen the skin; AHA (Glycolic Acid) & BHA (Winter Green Leaf) extracts to gently exfoliates away dead skin cells for a smooth complexion, and Kaolin to detoxifies and pulls out impurities from the pores. This product contains less than 0.1% of Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) which is really mild to the skin.
My Verdict
Depending on how your skin reacts upon application of this product but I would recommend this if you have normal, oily, or combination skin. Even though this product may have less than 0.1% of AHA, BHA, and PHA, this product still contains sensitising ingredients such as Potassium Hydroxide, Fragrance, and Hexyl Cinnamal. Thus, I would not recommend this to be used by those who have sensitive skin. The price for a bottle of this product is quite affordable – less than RM50. This product can last up to 6 months of usage. Since this product makes my skin feels nicer, I would repurchase this again soon.
