Fairer skin tone has been popular all across Asia, and it has long been a trend where majority of women desire to have a fairer and lighter skin complexion. The Garnier Light Complete Multi-Action Whitening Cream has been in the shelves for years now and I just got myself a jar after my cousins asked me to give it a try. Here’s my personal review about this day cream after trying it for 14 days.

What I Say
This newly improved Light Complete White Speed is infused with White Speed Serum that claimed to help brighten up the complexion within 14 days.
This day cream comes in a sturdy and heavy glass has extra protection SPF19/PA+++. I’m quite disappointed because the cream does not come with a spatula for hygienic purpose. Moreover, I find it’s less travel friendly as it comes in a sturdy, and heavy jar.
The cream has a quite non-greasy and thick texture. I don’t like the texture as it takes time for my skin to absorb and it always leave white residue. Moreover, it makes my skin a bit cakey when applying with make-up. Anyway, I like the fresh lemon scent, and cooling sensation upon application onto the skin. It also leaves my skin matte finish. I find this is quite unsuitable for matured skin because of its thick texture, and less blendability.
I love this cream as my skin feels smooth and soft after applying it. However, I figure out that this cream does not fully function as moisturiser but rather a whitening cream. This cream also help to lighten up some of my acne scars, and dark spots thus creating a more flawless complexion. The price is affordable, and you can easily grab this from drugstores.
This might not be a friendly option if you are experiencing severe acne skin conditions. In fact, as much as you might know what mercury can do harm to your skin, so does Metylparaben. You can read more about side effects of Metylparaben here. All you need to do is to practise moderation when applying any skincare products. Frankly speaking, I’d prefer to apply it on my dark elbows and knees because these are the parts where I need to be fairer.
