Castor oil is actually a vegetable oil from the seeds of castor plant (Ricinus Communis) which can be found widely in Africa, and India. It has many uses especially as home remedy, and ailments. Castor oil was made popular in 1940s and 1950s by a medical intuitive, Edgar Cayle, due to its treatments of many problems.
Benefits of Castor Oil:
- Castor oil contains undercylenic acid which help to disinfect the skin that cause skin problems such as acne. Due to its anti-bacterial properties, it can be used as detoxification as it helps to break up oils on clogged pores.
- Castor oil can be a very good skin emollient as it helps to moisturise and soften dry and rough skin.
- Rubbing Castor oil on your face help to cleanse the dead cell off the skin which can clog the sebaceous glands which usually cause breakouts.
- It also helps in stimulating the production of collagen and elastin which restores and rejuvenates skin’s natural youthful. In other words, it helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
- Castor oil can also be used to treat dry scalp or dandruff. Just rub a little castor oil into your wet hair, and massage to get rid the flakes and itchiness.
- Castor oil can also promotes natural hair growth by massaging a bit of castor oil for about 6 minutes a day. You can also get a thicker eyebrows by massaging a few drops of castor oil for a few minutes every day.
What is PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil?
- It’s a white paster derived from Castor Oil.
- It helps the water to mix with oil and dirt so that they can be rinsed away, leaving skin and hair clean.
- The product is considered to be safe to be used when the concentration is between 0,5% and 10%.
