Shopping for baby bath can be a pain in the ass for parents who are welcoming their newborn baby. There are tons of baby bath lining up in the market which make parents indecisive because some ingredients in a baby bath can over-dry the baby skin, and a few can lead to itchiness. Yes. Baby skin is very sensitive especially the newborn. Some of us follow what our family recommends us, and most of us would pop out a question on the Facebook, asking other mommies which baby bath that is good for baby. Here’s my experience using Johnson’s Baby Bedtime Bath ever since the arrival of my 2nd baby.

What I Say
I started buying this when I was pregnant with my 2nd one. It comes in a light purple non-transparent squeezable dispenser plastic bottle. It’s easily recognizable because the color of the bottle is different from other Johnson’s Baby bath, and I find the color is quite adorable, too! I bought this because of the statement printed on the bottle, ‘proven to help baby sleep better’, which I thought would help me to calm the baby.
The light purple bath cream has a very nice and calming lavender aroma but it can be quite strong to some people. It’s great for sensitive skin and babies with eczema. It leaves the skin with soft feel. I usually bath my baby with Johnson’s bedtime bath for 15 – 20 minutes with warm water in the evening so she can get a calmer sleep after that.
This doesn’t irritate their eyes and has a pleasant smell. It doesn’t create much bubbles yet easier to lather. The bath doesn’t actually gives my baby a nice sleep if you think you can depend on this bath cream alone. There’s a need to apply Johnson’s Baby Bedtime Lotion which has a very refreshing and calming effect. It’s a great baby bath so far especially if it’s combined with baby oil and baby lotion from the same range.
