11 Years of DayveRampas.com: A Look Back (and Ahead)

To be honest, I have had a great eleven years since I decided to register my own domain name. For a while, I was on the fence because I was afraid that people would think I was stupid, narcissistic, or sexist. My anxieties were unwarranted, and I would be able to make meaningful connections with people and live a fuller life if I had just stopped pretending and started being myself. Neither dayverampas.com nor the many chances it has brought would have been possible if I had not taken that risk. I am grateful to have these people in my life. Their unwavering support and words of encouragement have changed my life, keeping me inspired and helping me get through a tough time. Their support and determination gave me the strength to keep going when things became tough. I am grateful to the community of people who have rallied around me, and I will do my best to follow their lead and draw strength from their stories as I pursue my goals.

There have been worse times, and I really do not care if certain people (the same old folks) have the nerve to comment on nasty things on my site. To be honest, I find it rather entertaining that these people would bother to post such remarks; it goes on to show how insecure and unproductive they are. The printed screenshots served as reminders that some people could display good and bad qualities. There have been many dramas, but they did not get to me; I persisted and succeeded for 11 years. I am forever grateful to those who have been there for me through thick and thin. You are all definitely fantastic; guys!

As social media has become a major platform for people to review nearly everything, having a strong online presence is more important than ever. Therefore, I decided to focus all my efforts on these sites and stop publishing product reviews on my own website. Sites such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok are perfect for publishing reviews because of their large user bases and helpful analytics and statistics capabilities. In fact, these social media product evaluations appear to have a larger readership and more engaging material, which translates to more views. However, the sponsored articles were still accepted. When it comes to sharing experiences, it makes more sense to focus on social media than on blogs, since an increasing number of people are using these outlets to learn about products.

The ability of literature to bridge cultural and societal divides has always fascinated me about the written word. By talking to each other and listening to their stories, we can better understand each other and our perspectives. I do not think of myself as a storyteller, but I have been wondering whether there is a way to channel my passion for writing into something that can motivate or entertain others. I still feel the need to write something new and unconnected to my thesis and work, even though I have a lot to do with both. I long for a means of self-expression that not only brings me joy but also encourages the growth of my abilities and the formation of international relationships.

Regardless of how advanced AI becomes, I believe that human empathy and understanding are still crucial for AI assistance to be effective. Regardless of how far machine learning approaches, humans will always be ahead of the curve. Listen up, dudes: We cannot let machines dictate our thoughts. Despite everything, I am continuing on my path to achieving my longtime goal of helping others without access to proper educational resources through my writing. I believe that keeping my work in English will allow me to expose it to a wider audience and improve it. I am aware that there is a Sabahan impact on my Malay, but I am committed to learning the language so that I can better assist others. Instead of making me feel humiliated, I try to use my writing as a tool to reflect on my shortcomings and how I may improve.
