Giveaway: SGshop – RM100 FREE Shopping Credit Giveaway For 10 Lucky Followers

My previous experience with a Taobao agent was quite unpleasant last time because of their bad management system, and they charged me with ‘awfully’ expensive shipping fee even though the package was just a small one. Yes, living in East Malaysia means shipping fee can be really expensive. I stopped buying from this Taobao agent right away.

I was later introduced to this Taobao agent, SGshop, a locally-registered company that specializes in logistics and acting on your instruction so that you can receive your desired products purchased from Chinese e-commerce websites. I was reluctant at first because of my previous experience. However, I finally decided to give it a try because a friend of mine (a blogger, too!) shared her experience with SGshop.

Taobao is similar to ‘eBay’ but For those who are unfamiliar with Chinese characters, in other words, don’t understand Chinese. SGshop comes in English language, well, it translates those Chinese characters so that buyers who do not understand Chinese can also shop with ease. The system is quite straightforward. All you need to do is register for an account first. Make sure you have a valid email address so that they can send you the verification email.

There are two (2) services offered by SGshop: (i) Buy For Me, and (ii) Ship For Me. For those who want to skip the hassles when shopping with SGshop, Buy For Me option is the best because it provides detailed information such as description of the items, shipping fees (domestic and international), and many more. Ship For Me, on the contrary, is for those who have Taobao account and would love to purchase on your own. SGshop will provide address of their warehouse because most of the sellers in Taobao do not ship internationally, they need local China address. Anyway, I would recommend you to try their Buy For Me service because you can ditch having to encounter problems with the shipping and language barriers.

How about the modes of payment? SGshop accepts all major credit and debit cards, as well as Paypal and local bank transfer. There are two (2) parts of payment:

  1. Product Price + Domestic China Shipping Fee
  2. International Shipping Fee (China to Malaysia)

SGshop made shopping on Taobao so much easier. Besides, SGshop offers SG-Care for extra care on your purchase during inspection and shipping. SGshop gives compensation on the product and shipping cost in event that your purchase is lost or damages during shipment and any other problems under inspection coverage category. There are a lot of benefits when shopping with SGshop because they make sure that you will receive your items safely and in good condition. You can find more details about how it works here.
